I process personal data only as far as necessary to provide this website and to answer your enquiries. This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking tools. Fonts are hosted on this website itself, so no connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit it.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested and browser information, in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

4. Contact form

If you send me a message via the contact form, I process the data you provide (name, company, email address, message) in order to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

To deliver the message to my inbox I use the email service Resend, a provider based in the USA. Your data is transferred to the USA for this purpose, on the basis of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. I delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock icon and the "https://" in your browser's address bar.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, an email to the address above is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
